What happens to my bulk file and my data in Badger Sheets?

Last updated on Sep 08, 2026

The short version: your bulk file is used to run your audit and show it back to you. It is not sold, not shared with other customers or with Amazon, and not used to train machine-learning models.

The bulk file

When you upload a bulk file for a saved audit, the file itself is deleted 30 days after the audit completes. The audit report, every finding and every figure, is stored separately and is not affected. Nothing reads the original file once the audit is done, so there is no reason to keep it.

There is no way to download the original file back from Badger Sheets, so keep your own copy if you want one.

Audits

Audits are kept until you delete them, so you can compare an account over time. To delete one, open Your Audits at https://sheets.adbadger.com/audits and use Delete on that row. Deleting an audit removes the audit record and the underlying bulk file from storage. It is immediate and it is not recoverable.

Closing your account

You can close your account yourself from the bottom of the audits page. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account, your audits, your uploaded files and any generated bulk sheets are removed immediately and irrecoverably. The only thing that remains is a hashed sign-in security record, kept so a deleted account cannot be used to reset the sign-in rate limit.

What never leaves your browser

The in-browser audit at https://sheets.adbadger.com/local parses and audits your file on your own machine. The file is never uploaded and no result is transmitted. The free audit on the home page and the N-Gram Analyzer also parse the file in your browser. When you enter your email to unlock a full report, the report (not the file) is sent to Badger Sheets and held until you click your sign-in link. Until then it is keyed by a hash of your email rather than the address itself.

Benchmarks

Benchmarks use only headline ratios grouped into broad spend tiers, and only when at least 20 accounts are in a group. No campaign name, keyword, search term, ASIN, SKU or email is ever part of one.
